Praying Apart

Since the first lockdown the parish prayer group, under the title of Praying Apart, has been meeting in spirit rather than in body and praying on the first and third Wednesdays of each month in our own homes. An email prepared in turn by one of the 15 pray-ers is circulated to assist us in our praying.

The purpose of the group is primarily to pray for our churches, the parish and community but we usually start with a short reflection to inspire us to deeper faith or to encourage us in our praying.

We also pray for wider concerns in the church, country and world. We gladly welcome any prayer requests coming from people in the parish and would love more people to join us in our praying.
