REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY

11th November 2019 - 10.00am

Remembrance Sunday is a special day for the whole community

This year we bring to mind the 75th Anniversary of D-Day and the 80th Anniversary of the Outbreak of World War Two

It is at this service that we pause to remember and reflect on the lives of all those men and women who have died whilst serving in the Armed Forces over the years, and for all those men, women and children who have also died as the result of conflict.

We actively encourage the whole community to come along to the service at 10.00am which is a family service for all ages and there will be things to do as well as prayers, music and reflections.

At 11am we will pause and join the whole Country in the National Two Minute Silence.

This year we are welcoming the Uniformed Organisations to church and some Veterans from the Armed Forces and families whose relatives have served over the years.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn

At the going down of the Sun, and in the morning

We will remember them
