serving the communities of Stanmore, Badger Farm, Olivers Battery, and Winchester Village.
Leadership
Marianne Foster is our Curate. We're currently in a 'vacancy' which means we are without an appointed vicar. However, Marianne has been more active than we might typically expect from a Curate, and been fulfilling this role with support from Archdeacon Richard and Bishop David.

The 'PCC' (Parochial Parish Council), are the trustees for the parish church. The responsibilities and particular roles played by members of the PCC are below.
Marianne Foster - Curate
Marianne Foster is Curate. This is the Anglican title for a leader during their first few years of ministry having been appointed by the Bishop.

Marianne began training to serve in the church following a career in social work, youth work, pastoral care in schools, writing safeguarding policy, and delivering safeguarding training to local schools and groups of head teachers.

In addition to her role as a Curate, Marianne is very involved in community life and events groups, and also serves as a trustee for Carol Centre in Stanmore.

Marianne lives in Olivers Battery with her husband Tom, and their 4 children.
